solar oil- is a conditioning treatment that penetrates deeply and quickly,softening cuticles and promoting strong, flexible natural nails and enhancements. solar oil is a natural blend of  jojoba oil , sweet almond oil & vitamin E, it creates a light penetrating oil with antioxidant agents

Hand Cream- Investing in a good hand cream will make all the difference to keeping your hands soft and supple. As cuticle oil this should be applied to the hands every time you wash your hands, but if this isn’t possible once in the morning and at night will make a difference- Massaging cream into the hands and arms will also help improve circulation.

Nail Polish Remover- If you want to remove nail polish use one that is acetone free, although it shouldn’t be used too often as it could start to dry out your hands and nails.

Exfoliator- Using an exfoliator on your hands once a week will help to remove dead skin and make your skin look healthier and “younger”.

General Do’s and Don’ts- these apply for both feet and hands

Do make sure that each time you wash your hands that they are thoroughly dried

Do wear gloves for household chores and when gardening

Do use the correct aftercare products for use at home

Do attend appointments with me for regular  rebalances

Don’t use your nails to open, lever and pick at items such as cans of food and drink

Don't pick and bite at your nails as this will cause damage to the natural nail and/or enhancement

Don't apply coloured nail varnish straight to the natural nail or enhancement as it could cause discoloration

Don't apply unnecessary pressure or force to your natural nail or enhancement

Don't attempt to remove the enhancements or natural nail overlay at home

Wearing nail enhancements  involves a tradeoff, In exchange for having consistently beautifull nails , you must visit me regularly and you must use greater care to protect your nails than you did before you have them applied. Plan to see me in about 2 weeks,

Do not do my job for me, If you break a nail or if a nail begins to lift, schedule a repair appointment; don't fix the nails yourself! Gluing down a loose nail can cause moisture to become trapped between the nail and the extension and could possibly cause an infection. Do not bandage a broken nail either. Bandages can also trap moisture.

Treat your nails like jewels, not tools, Wear gloves when you do any kind of housework or gardening,

If you are wearing polish or a French manicure, apply a top coat every other day to prevent chipping and yellowing, If you are in the sun frequently, you may need to apply top coat every day. 

I will recommend an application, and a nail length that best suits your hands and your lifestyle, For example, if you are especially hard on your nails because you work on the computer or do heavy work, shorter nails may be best for you.

Keep your cuticles soft by applying cuticle cream, cuticle oil, or a thick lotion once a day, Try this hand softening trick: Slather your hands with lotion before you put rubber gloves on to wash dishes. The heat of the dishwater will help skin absorb the lotion, and when the dishes are done your hands will be soft!

Reschedule your appointments if you are ill,

If for some reason you decide you no longer want to wear artificial nails, DO NOT take them off yourself! Although it may seem the simplest way to do it, pulling the nails off can damage your natural nail and make regrowth a long and painful process. Nail enhancements can be safely removed if done correctly by me.
